During the past year we have been extending our knowledge to include e-commerce solutions, database integration and web video. Services
E-COMMERCE SERVICES Ardnet Design can now provide bespoke e-commerce solutions for all types of situations. For example, if you just want to dip your toe in the world of online selling you can try our budget e-commerce product that provides you with the facility to start trading on your website, complete with shopping card and credit card facilities. This system is the best idea for a small, unchanging number of products. Larger e-commerce solutions can be integrated with databases for selling in larger volume and changing your stock more regularly. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DATABASE INTEGRATION Database integration is ideal if you have a large number or changing products. We can design a system that gives the client access to his own control panel to add and remove products quickly. We can now also integrate an offline database onto a web site, so for example, you can use your office database to provide information for the web site. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PROGRAMMING We are now able to offer bespoke online programming services, please contact us at info@ardnet.co.uk for more information. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SEARCH ENGINES UPDATES You are probably aware of e-mails flooding into your mailboxes from companies "claiming" that they can place your web site in the top 10 of all search engines. Please ignore these e-mails, they are in no way related to Ardnet Design and we will never support their claims. Due to the volume of web sites being submitted to search engines it is always difficult to get top listings. With the extensive knowledge that we have build up over the past few years we do our best to list sites on all the major search engines, This is done for any company who has a service or hosting package with us. Web sites must also be designed in such a way that is "search engine friendly". This is a difficult enough concept as no two search engine are the same, they all expect different things from the pages submitted to them. We are aware of a service which may be of interest to our customers. Your site will be submitted by a third party source to 100 English language search engines. The service however doesn't just stop there, our colleagues will monitor the engines and provide reports on how well your site is listed. These reports can then be used to adapt the web site slightly to make it more prominent on the search engines. The service costs £100+VAT for 6 months and you will receive 6 months of reports, as well as adaptations to your site if needed.
