Protected Web Folder ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We are now able to provide a password protected area on your web site for things you don't want everyone to see. When the user clicks onto this part of the site (or types in the web address) they are presented with a login box where they have to input their username and password. This is ideal, for example, as a way to preview something to a selection of clients without everyone seeing it. The password protected area is only available on domains hosted by Ardnet Design and costs £50 + VAT ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Many of our clients want to view exactly how many people are visiting their site. Some people have requested further information. For example, clients want to know from where people are visiting from or, what they are most interested in on your web site. A graphical statistics page is now available on every domain hosted by Ardnet Design and is available very simply by typing in your domain name in the address box follows by /wusage, for example http://www.mydomainname.co.uk/wusage . This service
is completely free of charge to any clients hosting with Ardnet
Design. Costs for
this can vary. Simple installation costs from £50+VAT, with
links to database news items, etc costing more.
