------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FAVOURITE ICONS A new innovation to be launched with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 is favourite icons. These little pictures appear beside a web site listed in your favourites directory, they will also appear in the address bar when you view a page you have book-marked that uses the technology. For an example of this go to www.ardnet.co.uk and add that page to your favourites. You should be then able to see a small red logo at the left hand side of the web address in the address box of your browser or beside the name of the site in the list of favourites. This technology only works on computers using Microsoft Internet Explorer +5 (most people are using this browser by now) and will only display when the site is added to your favourite lists.
