This briefing and awareness session is hosted by Ards Business Centre and the Enterprise (NI) Local Enterprise Agency Network in conjunction with the EBL Group.

This event will assist Northern Ireland Companies  understand  how to maximise opportunity  in China and minimise risk in doing business there. Delegates will learn from practical on-the-ground experiences of a Northern Ireland company that has has been working in China for over 10 years.

The EBL Group has unique expertise built up over many years of working in China, having offices there, and successfully sourcing cost effective, quality products, for companies worldwide.

The session will cater for companies that are interested in, or contemplating direct import/export  trade with China and those that are already active in the market but require further business support.

In the current economic climate, more and more companies are looking further afield to buy their materials and products to become more competitive.

The traditional practice of local companies buying Chinese products through a series of wholesalers across the UK, ROI and Europe is rightly under scrutiny.

Delegates will hear about the unique business practices and cultural aspects that impact in the Chinese markets.
