We’ve been working with the crew over at Fever 40, helping to setup all the online facilities to allow this brand new radio station Northern Irish to reach a global audience.
Launched on 4th April 2016 Fever40 broadcasts the finest new music mixed with the great classics that you love presented by the best DJs in the country. The radio station is aimed at a Northern Ireland audience but we know it will have international appeal to people interested in news and views from the province or for Northern Irish people living abroad.
The new station is fully interactive with many ways for people to contact each show including from inside the mobile apps or by sending a message on the website, listeners can also phone the radio station to get talking to the presenters.
Station Manager Eddie West said, “I’m overjoyed to be working with such a great bunch of people and know the station will quickly become a household name. We’ve got some very exciting news in the pipeline and will be growing our already impressive presenting team in the near future”.
We asked Marketing Manager Andrew Kane his views on how an online radio station could fare against traditional stations, “The rise in smartphone use has been immense over the last few years and fast connection speeds mean that people are often forgetting traditional broadcast media in favour of internet based transmissions. We not only have to compete with local and national broadcasters but worldwide media now and I’m more extremely pleased to say we’ve developed a package that will attract many listeners”.
The station has some advertising space available for local companies but get in quick as space won’t stay available for long.
