Christmas events in Newtownards, Bangor and Comber

christmasArds and North Down council have planned a bumper year of Christmas festivities to get us all in the mood for the arrival of father Christmas.

Events include a fair in Comber where you can bring your Kids to Santa’s Grotto and watch the Christmas Tree lights switch on with Santa Arriving in a Fire Engine.  This coming Saturday Holywood welcomes the festive period with the Open House Choir, a synthetic ice-rink and a visit from Santa and a giant snowman along side a market running all day and the light switch on at 4.30pm.

Newtownards is set to host a wide range of events over the festive period including craft fairs and the switch on of the Christmas Tree lights in Conway Square, Newtownards at 7pm on the Friday 27th November.

Bangor, not to be outshone will also be hosting a concert by the Ulster Orchestra, A Christmas Market and a special Christmas Tree lights switch on at Project 24.

Earlier this year we were pleased to be able to produce a website for the Comber Farmers Market, a monthly event showcasing some of the best locally produced food in the area.  There will be a special Christmas Market on Thursday 3rd December at St Mary’s Parish Church, Comber from 9am – 1.30pm.
